Children
We welcome you and your children to worship with us! We provide Sunday school classes for all ages, and we invite your children to join you for Sunday morning worship. (please see below for more information).
Nursery (ages birth through 3 years) is provided during the Sunday School time and both morning and evening worship services on Sundays. Nursery is also provided during our weekly women's Bible study.
Below is a list of classes and programs that we also offer for children:

VISION
God’s Family Showing Them Jesus
We believe the entire church, as God’s covenant community, is called to join the parents to show Jesus to our children. We do this at many times, in many ways, including classroom teaching (Sunday school, Sunday evening classes, Wednesday morning kids’ Bible study), praying for individual children (children’s prayer bookmarks), and relationships with families and children.

Sunday School Children's Curriculum: The Biggest Story is a 2-year chronological Bible study that helps children understand God's plan to redeem the world through his Son, Jesus, by leading them through the overarching story of the Bible. Each class learns from the same passage of Scripture each week, which helps parents reinforce the lesson with all their children at home. We are currently working our way through the Pentateuch, where we are discovering not only how the universe came into being, but also how we came into being, how sin entered the world, and also about God's plan to set his people free and set them on a path of obedience and blessing.
Every week, we also focus on learning a Bible verse related to that week's lesson, along with a "Big Truth" that summarizes the lesson content. The weekly Bible verse and Big Truth are posted on the classroom doors, church bulletin boards, and in the Narthex (all church members are encouraged to pick up a card and learn with us each week).
God’s Family IDEA: As you interact with the children at church, ask them to help you learn the current Bible verse and Big Truth. The fellowship time is a great time for this.
Sunday Evenings at 6:00pm

- Content: Teaching our children to think and live from a gospel perspective.
God’s Family IDEA: Ask a Kids Connect Bible study child to tell you one of the catechism questions he or she is learning in this class.
Children & Worship
We love children and want them to enjoy the worship of God with His family.
Each Sunday, during the worship service, we bring the children forward for a special children's sermon that relates to the pastor's sermon. We strategically put this about 25 minutes into the service so the kids can get up and move around. That helps them adjust to being in worship for an extended time.
You can also find that many of our children sit with different people each Sunday. This occurs so that the responsibility of teaching children how to worship is felt by all. We truly are a family!
We encourage children to stay and be a part of the worship service as long as they can. But we understand that might not be possible for every child every week. To help parents, we have a TV just outside the sanctuary that streams the worship service. Parents can stay with their children in this area, giving children a little more wriggle room, but also allowing parents and children to be part of the worship service.
In addition to that, we also provide a nursery (for children 3 years and under) during the service with workers who have been properly screened to ensure our children's safety. The nursery also has a TV that streams the service so that workers and children can follow along with the worship service.
